Known as Lake Field Hut or No.3 Hut

Located North of Kerrisons Hut on the Lake Field Track. Take the Pillans Lake Track north of Lake Augusta and continue north. Pillans Hut No.4 is off to west on a subsidiary track.

History

Apparently this hut was built by fishermen and originally locked. It appears to be open now.

Construction

Built of corrugated iron over sawn timber frame, it is very small.
