Known as Lake Fergus Hut or the Fishing Hut.

Located at Lake Fergus, Central Highlands. Access is via the old track up beside the Little Pine River. Start at Little Pine Dam, cross the river and follow the Western shore of Little Pine Lagoon. Note that you are on private property, but there is a 20m public access zone along the track, and 30 metre access zone around the lake itself. The walk-in is 9.5km and takes about 3 hours. There is camping nearby.

History

The Lake Fergus hut was built by fishermen, and is in very regular use by them today.
