Alf Byes Hut

Known as Bye’s Hut or Alf Bye’s residence.
Located at: near the Sandbanks property, beside sandbanks creek at Great Lake.
History:
The excact date of constrution is unknown, but is likely to have been in the 1950’s. Alf built this as more than a hut, with four rooms and a large living areas. Unfortunately many of the surrounding farm buildings have been burnt or otherwise destroyed.
Construction:
Sawn timber with iron, plus linings.
