Federation Link Road Hut
Known as Federation Link Road Hut.
Located on Torbeck Rd near Federation Rd near to Royston Gap on Wild Oats Hill and NE of Lake Mountain.
History
Its older register lists it as located on departmental forest land, then managed by DELWP, so it is likely it was built to support forestry operations, but this is not confirmed.
It has been rumoured that it was destroyed or seriously damaged in the 2009 fires. The photos below are all from January 2008.
Construction
Constructed of timber poles and vertical boards with a skillion corrugated iron roof.
