Johnston Hut - Ruin

Known as Johnston Hut or Johnstone’s Hut

Located on Mt Wellington, on the North South Track, south of Lone Cabin.

History: This hut was built for weekend recreation about 1913, but the exact date is unknown. It was a ruin by 1967, when the bushfires destroyed what remained apart from the prominent chimney.
