Known as: Carr Villa Lodge.

Located: Directly up the Carr Villa Road, as it branches off the summit road to Leggs Tor, before that road commences the climb up Jacob’s Ladder.

History: Carr Villa was orginally built in the early 1900’s it was fully renovated by a Rover Scout crew and completed on 15 July 1978. It is currently managed by the northern area Rover Crew and can be rented at $30 per night, by applying to them. It will accommodate up to 18 people in bunk rooms.

The original wing was built of stones with a shingle roof over log beams, and remains that way today. The rest is the new section from 1978.
