Known as Lodders Lodge or Wren Flat Hut
History
Wrens Flat Hut stands in the Jamieson River valley near Mount Sunday. Its construction date, builder and original purpose remain unconfirmed. The hut was recorded in the Victorian Government’s 2001 forest management plan, which recommended maintenance and further assessment of its historical significance. A visitor account from January 2005 reported that the building had suffered vandalism.
Construction
Corrugated iron hut in poor condition. It has a skillion Roof. Lined with sheets of plywood and threatened by blackberries.
