Knwon as New Pelion Hut
Located right in the centre of the Cradle Mtn Lake St Clair NP, this is one of the most beautiful places in Australia. It is about 400m from Old Pelion Hut
History
"New" is probably a misnomer for this hut, as four different huts have stood on this site over the last four decades. The hut above, has just been built in October 2001 and this photo taken in 2002.
Construction
Modern with lots of bunks and a wide verandah.
